Practice
Do it now
A few minutes without the video: spot the mistake, apply the fix, pass the challenge.
- Mistake
- Your energy leaks into air and your throat, and your jaw is tight — so it sounds weak.
- Fix
- Compress the air, push from your belly and relax your jaw before the hit.
- Challenge
- Shake your jaw: if it's hard to relax, you're tense. Make the sound tense, then relaxed, and compare how full it is.
Steps
- Make the sound with minimum breath out — no “pshhh”.
- Put a hand on your belly: you should feel a push with the sound.
- No push, or a tired throat? You're pushing wrong. Push from below.
- Shake your jaw and relax your shoulders, then make the sound.
- Record it tense and relaxed, then listen to the difference.
