Do it now

A few minutes without the video: spot the mistake, apply the fix, pass the challenge.

Mistake
You play everything at one level: no build-up, no contrast, so the drop falls flat.
Fix
Build from quiet to loud, pause, hit a heavy drop with bass, then add a twist.
Challenge
Learn the full build-up → drop → variation pattern and play it for someone at home. Watch their reaction.

Steps

  1. Build-up, 4 bars: t-t-t-t | t-t-t-B | t-t-B-B | t-B-B-B.
  2. Grow it: quiet to loud, sparse to dense.
  3. Pause, then a 2-bar drop: B---Pf-B-B-Pf | B-B-Pf-B-LipBass.
  4. Variation: one bar of silence, then Pf---B-t-t-Pf.
  5. Join all the parts and play the whole pattern.
